My family have been banking with the Ladner branch of the RBC for almost three years. I have come to know the majority of people in the branch and can say that they are some of the nicest, most helpful professionals I have met. I am not especially app savvy and whenever I would get stuck they would guide me through their computers, step-by-step there and then to resolve my issue. Went to Ladner to make a deposit and to do some banking. Was told by the teller that I should use online banking quite abrasively. When I challenged her because I felt she was talking down to me she then was more gentle with her tone and demeanor. Maybe I am taking it personally but I can’t help but feel she would have been more polite at the onset if I wasn’t a person of colour.
John (Jake) Aller is one of the most outstanding advisors i’ve met since moving to Canada. Strongly recommend this branch because of his service.
