Terrible place to bank at. I came to exchange my coins for cash and the teller told me “we don’t take loose change”. Ridiculous for the bank not to take my money. I had done the same request at different branches and they’ve always done it for me. Waste of time, will not come back.
“We don’t take loose change”, passive aggressive, horrible attitude towards customers, 0 stars if i could. Waste of my time waiting in line.
Trying to help my mom put a stop payment on a cheque and tried to phone. I couldn't get past the stupid virtual assistant. My mom doesn't on-line banking and has trouble seeing the numbers on her card. It is unbelievable that customer asistance has gotten so bad. I may have to look at moving my investments elsewhere if this is how we treat our elderly.
3.50 ATM fee is extortionate
I requested to close my account a year ago. They never closed it and i am constantly getting harassed with calls and being charged monthly fees for an inactive account. Nobody is willing to help. I switched to TD Canada Trust across the road and i have never had any issues. I recommend TD to all my friends and family now. never RBC.
