After over 35 years as an RBC customer, I’m closing my account today. I can no longer support a bank that shuts down accounts based on political pressure or disagreement with a client’s work. The recent decision to close the account of a lawyer who represented members of the Freedom Convoy — allegedly at the request of the federal government — is deeply concerning.
