Bravo RBC West Van hired a brilliant woman to greet and help customers recently. Sad that they are so financially strapped that they can't afford to pay a human to answer customers phone calls instead of the automated idiot. Today, I visited RBC as I stand on line. One of the customer service was dealing with client. She was so loud the With a few counter distance I could hear the customer’s account balance, reason of attendance and at the end his name which was really disturbing , since customer privacy is important. I did not my wallet with me. I had $100.00 Canadian which I wanted to switch to American funds. They would not do it without my bank card.they could have looked up account and I would have been able to enter my PIN.There was no potential for fraud, as I was giving them cash. Why would they not do it other than to be difficult? Terrible customer service in my mind.
