I saw the same lazy man (Ali) from the North Vancouver Lonsdale store which I had been avoiding. I've been coming to this place so I know one thing for sure~ staff here are mostly helpful and diligent (especially the ladies). Perhaps it was bad luck, I've had nothing but trouble with Ali who's made mistakes over mistakes. I was in line to pay a bill and listened in to a conversation Ali had with a customer. Once again a very disturbing experience with this branch as the customer service representative made a big mistake by opening an account, making me move my money from other finance institute to RBC. I lost the benefit of where I had my finance . Then requesting to see a adviser, who can fix their own mistake, being offered a appointment in 10 days. I visited the RBC West Vancouver branch for a quick task and was assisted by Ali Khalaf at the front line. He was polite, professional, and handled my request efficiently. He also provided helpful additional information and introduced a relevant credit product, explaining how to book an appointment for it. As someone who works in banking myself, I found his approach highly professional and reflective of a positive image of RBC. I truly appreciate his support.
