Never answers their branch phone. Leaves the mailbox full so you can’t leave a message. Lies to seniors when they bring in a bank draft for deposit and tells them they can’t lift the hold on the funds for 4 business days (which turns into a week waiting) and they have no control over it, which is a straight up lie. I have been specifically told by a bank manager at my other bank and by the RBC client rep on the phone that it is the branches choice on how long they hold it for, and they can waive the time if they so choose. Worst branch in hamilton.
Worst customer service I’ve experienced. Lines often extend nearly to the front entrance, yet there’s a clear lack of urgency. Staff appear unconcerned about wait times and frequently prolong interactions by discussing non-business matters while customers continue to wait.
Extremely slow service. Something needs to be done to improve this. More tellers and faster service. They don't work quickly, they just take their time and moving around the branch slowly like they're on a stroll in the park. Despise coming here
