I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with a recent appointment scheduled to open a new account and discuss investment options. The experience was frustrating, a significant waste of time, and has led me to decide not to proceed with opening an account at your institution. Despite walking 40 minutes in -17 degrees weather to arrive on time, my appointment began 15 minutes late. Awful customer service and lack of training. My bank draft has been put on hold despite the fact that’s it’s a bank draft and there’s note of the account that says no hold. Lady processing this was incompetement, another lady did not help much and the bank manager refused to look further into this until I called account manager from RBC and the magically the problem was resolved in seconds.
They closed my US account without my consent, and won’t return my balance. After a phone call, the employee blamed bank error, and that nothing can be done. Hopefully this serves as a warning for others looking to bank with RBC.
I had GOOD and BAD experiences in this branch. Good experience: I had a very good banking experience in this branch and I gave 4 Stars only for a TELLER. Her name is ""LUOI"" She answered and solved all my queries with 100% patience and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this branch ONLY for the above mentioned Teller. I respect and highly appreciate her service. Bad experience: The person with beard and mask in the front office - aggressive attitude, lack of knowledge.
Worst branch I’ve ever been to. Their tellers are now useless since they don’t have all the equipment that most tellers do so they force you to wait in the business line.
