The customer service at this bank is unacceptable. A middle-aged Chinese man at the counter rolled his eyes, looked down on customers, and even used an obscene middle finger gesture to call people. I am also Asian, so this is not about racism , it is about his unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. He should go back to school to learn proper manners before working in customer service. After failing to find a place to file a formal complaint, I am writing here to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I received at your RBC Barrhaven branch on the morning of June 24, 2025. As a new RBC client, I had scheduled an appointment for 9:30 a.m. and arrived a few minutes early, not realizing that the branch opens at exactly 9:30. Horrible experience at RBC, wouldn’t recommend this branch to anyone.
My wife and I open a new account from this location and we received an excellent service from Michelle and the bank manager. They went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be coming back to this branch for our future business.
