I mistakenly left my debit card at the branch and it took almost 2 weeks for them to call me and tell me they had it. They left a message that I could come and pick it up and when I got there they told me that the card was no good so they trashed it, what a group of idiots. I can see that all the 1 star ratings were justified
Tried to open a bank account for my teenager. Was told it could not be started today (Tuesday) and to come back on the Thursday. I said, "I work that day, if it can't be done today we're going to the bank down the st." (BMO). The teller replied "but we give free air pods." 😆 I replied, "you must not need our business" and walked out. Lost a customer today to BMO -who by the way started the process on the spot and told us we would have the account finalized prob by Thursday. Highly recommend BMO.
Please do not buy into the Kool-Aid if there's any good reviews on here. This is the absolute worst bank in Exeter Ontario period. Never have dealt with a level of incompetent people in my entire life. I just recently tried to deposit a US dollar draft from my other account in libro in town here. Its certified funds. They put a hold on the funds not allowing me access to pay my bills in my us account. They would not call down the street to libro to verify it. This is a horrible bank. I love RBC they helped me out in the past so I stayed loyal. But this location is absurd. The kids working there are more fit to do retail in the mall. Very pretentious, inexperienced and just too young to be doing this job. It is such a shame. RBC is a great bank ( from my experience) in the inner workings of this is a nightmare.
