Man Ying is absolutely amazing, she helped us secure financing and an amazing rate for our first house. She was able to give my wife and I the tools to make it happen as soon as possible. Man Ying worked night and day to help us in anyway she was able to. Amazing experience. Amazing team.

In 2022 I applied for an $8k loan for a vehicle and it was declined by Gerben, who stated “these rules are put in place to protect both RBC and its clients”. The same month Kootenay Savings approved the loan, and it has been repaid early in full. In 2026 I am in a position to apply for a mortgage. Kootenay Savings met with me on time, spoke kindly and detailed my finances, ultimately offering me pre-approval. Out of curiosity I scheduled an appointment with RBC.
