RBC is the worst bank I’ve ever used. Stay away. I travel frequently. And have told the credit card company this. They locked my card and I could not use the card for a deposit when I got to my hotel room. That’s no problem, but I called to get it unblocked and the question they asked me was what is the exact date that I opened up my mortgage and the amount of my payment. I told them I was unable to know that answer. They fully locked my account and my banking. Told me I have to go to the branch. That was the only option.. I... read more
Started 4th in line, been waiting 30 minutes to help my mom get some loonies for her laundry and still 2 people ahead of us. The people behind of us have given up and walked away, to be replaced by new customers waiting...and now 1 of the 2 working tellers have left, while 11 people are waiting! Ridiculous!

Tried calling to order a replacement card. Attempted call attempts: 4. Hung up on by a robot: once. Hung up on by rude Indian women after asking to speak with someone who speaks English: twice. Fourth time: I was connected to another Indian woman. She spoke slightly better English, thankfully. Card finally sorted It is not rude of me to ask to be transferred to someone who speaks English.
