Always helpful staff and have fresh produce. Rays needs a make over. I’ve never walked through a more poorly designed and unloved grocery store except in the east bay. As soon as you walk in you are slammed in the face with a mountain of wine and beer that you have to walk around. The layout is horrible and makes anyone agrophobic. It would be great if they had grab and go cooler type displays in front and cared more about the place. Isn’t this a co-op? Humble outside but the inside is . So clean and the employees were all so kind. I’m trying to corral my crazy kids, hyper from a road trip and the employees were gracious and even gave them treats and toys. The checker gave us stickers - and the store is CLEAN. It’s small but not super limited selection.
I just read the review posted by A.M. And understand that this particular rate looks very old and outdated, but you must understand many things about race food place. One the company is having a very hard time, and almost went out of business some years ago too this is not a co-op. Three the store has been in existence for a very, very long time and if you were to go into a little town called LaPine Oregon, you would find a raised food plate any shop Mart, which are owned by the same company in competition with one desert.
