I placed orders worth $4000 and was skeptical about the bunkyboard but went ahead with it based on the suggestion of a sales representative ...considering that they're the experts. On delivery, the bed turned out to be too high for my child. I explained my concern to a sales mgr and was told that I could return the bed at a 15% restocking fee. GO ON YELP FOR THE FULL STORY There's no reason to buy from a well known company- maybe there's no advantage to that. Maybe online shopping and doing your OWN research and building your OWN knowledge is much more beneficial than relying on a commission based salesman to tell you what you need to know. And maybe there's no reason at all to support a reputable company when you can probably get treated and educated much better at a small store that's just trying to get by. AVOID this store at all costs. You will thank me later. What a horrible business. Everything about this business is a joke. Their couch ruined our hardwood flooring because they left the factory metal staples in the glides of the couch, and unfortunately we didn't know until the damage was done- scratches so deep in our brand new Acacia flooring, in the opposite direction of the planks. Have been given the run around for over a year and a half and YET to receive compensation to have our flooring fixed by our builder.
I am so disappoint with Raymour & Flanigan. I am a returning customer. This last purchasing experience was horrible and will be my last. I purchased a kitchen set and a dinning room set. They had to replace the entire kitchen set three times because the damages were beyond repair. The dinning room table was sent out twice, the hutch was sent out twice and I am still waiting for these pieces. They keep sending damaged goods. My sales person Linda, she could care less, doesn't return calls.
I have been here countless times and the people are friendly and extremely helpful. I finally purchased sofas today and they will be delivered in this week! Quick delivery plus plus if furniture doesn't fit or theres and issue upon delivery they say just send it back! How could you go wrong. This is the only place I will ever order from again!
Where do I start with my rant about Raymour and Flanigan? probably would begin with 2 words... Paymore and Shenanigans.....I've had about every bad experience that I could possibly have with this company or at least with the Johnson City, NY store....First their sales tactics are extremely pushy and unprofessional. Salespeople are misinformed, management is misguided, however the worst experience one can have is dealing with the "customer service" people, the people whose job it is to process your payment. I really do love their furniture but boy is their sales staff ever pushy! They are pricy but so far it seems worth it, furniture is good quality, delivery is easy and professional. When I say staff is pushy I mean you get approached, on average, about 2-3 times for every 10 minutes your in there, even if you say you're just looking or just wanting to measure something.
