Just look at the other reviews of this office to get an idea of the treatment you’re going to get. I’m having to go through a completely different assessor’s office, in a county I haven’t lived in for years, to clear up a problem with this county’s records. The other office is bending over backwards to try and help, while this one is extremely rude. Glad to be moving out of Ray County soon.
Very rude on the phone and un knowledgeable. Called asking a question about being active military and being a resident of another state to which the lady I was talking to kept talking circles then even made a smart comment of well then go back to your home state. I then called another county and they said Ray county was wrong and just come to them and they will get everything taken care of. I’d avoid this place unless you like extra work, loss of money, and rude behavior.
