The best bike shop in Northern Virginia! I took in my old, neglected, but beloved Surly bike for some much needed TLC, and was welcomed by the friendliest staff! They helped me bring my bike back to life, and personalized it with some fun colors and personality. Kori, (Kori's dog who's the greatest shop dog), Matthew, and Thomas, thank you! Looking forward to the Saturday group rides! So happy to have a wonderful, local, bike shop in the area.
I had been having trouble with my wheelchair pulling to the right, to the point where it was extremely difficult for me to use myself (especially being new to wheelchair use). After googling, we found that the wheelchair probably needed to be aligned, and according to google, a bike shop should be able to do the alignment. I've always received exceptional service at Rats. I've even managed to get emergency repairs done while on rides near the shop and I'm always greeted with smiles and leave with a fixed bike. Highly recommended.
I went in to pick up my bike, and the staff went above and beyond to make adjustments to my seat after I mentioned some health concerns. The lady behind the counter was incredibly patient and took the time to answer all my questions about challenges female riders might face. I really appreciated the personalized care and expertise. Definitely recommend!
My wife and I were shopping for a mountain bike for our son’s Christmas present. We had checked out two other bike shops before ending up at Rats Cycles. Taylor was a great help, even when dealing with several other customers at the same time. She was very thorough in asking the right questions to find the right bike for our son, even though he wasn’t with us to test fit him to the bike.
