I can't say enough great things about Rats. Over the last two years, I've utilized their services and purchased a Trek Checkpoint and a Trek Verve 3+ for my wife. Everyone I've ever dealt with was always welcoming and helpful. They also have group rides every weekend during the warmer months. Bottom line: a great local bike shop.
We went here for my son’s bike and they sold us on a hybrid. They knew he was a teen looking to bike to school and to use the bike for daily use. They sold it without a kickstand and we bought it without it. Within two weeks we were back having to replace the gear shifter. Since then he fell a couple times and they advised we need another $500 plus in repairs. This would have put repairs over the last year at roughly the price of the bike. I bought a mountain bike for my son and had a really great experience with sizing and trying it out. I ended up buy the package of accessories with helmet, lights, bike lock, and more. We will now bring all of our bikes to be serviced here. I highly recommend this place!
This is the best bike shop! I brought my e-bike here for a tune-up and have been having some recurring brake problems. Everyone has been so kind and helpful and helped me explore all of the situations that might be occurring. I will absolutely recommend this shop to everyone in the DMV area.
Everyone there is super friendly and excited about bikes. Great place for a tune up, repairs, or getting on a new bike.
