These guys are not rude, and they are not crooked. If you have debt, then yes, you have to pay it. They have always been willing to work with me regardless of what I needed. It was my debt and my responsibility.

These people are dishonest. They told me if I paid the balance it will be removed from my report. I paid what they asked and then I got a notification from credit Karma that my charge did NOT get removed but was paid down. These people are liars do not trust them
Paying a debt is always a challenge. But, I finally figured out who my collector was (Ratchford) and called to try and resolve it. I ended up on the phone with Troy (my rep) who was honest, compassionate, and very helpful. We had a great conversation and made a plan to pay my debt. The bad reviews seem to be from people who want an easy solution for their bad financial decisions. Worst Customer Service Ever!!!! I had to help my relatives (who lacks reading/writing) get on the account to pay off the debt in which I needed the file number. But the agent proceeds to question how he/she fills out a paperwork, if he/she doesn't speak English.. I even asked if they got translator for the given language, which they DO NOT.
