We HIGHLY recommend Rapacki for your tax needs! They walked us through the process of filing our complex needs. The entire business is professional, helpful, and helped ease our anxiety of filing as a newly married couple! They implemented an app to make the process easier!
Beware healthcare, military, and small business owners. Joe is a horrible CPA who does not stand by his work or lack thereof. He put numbers from my LLC on our individual returns, causing a penalty and interest. He refused to provide us the information from where he obtained that number. He would not help us fix it with the MN Dept of Rev, or pay the fees, or refund us what we paid him. He is incompetent, unprofessional, and disrespectful. This CPA did not assist with our business or personal account. He barely answered questions or helped with our tax prep. We paid an annual fee for a business account and paid the max for taxes this year. We will not go back or recommend. Update: Rapacki did not finish our taxes properly, resulting in late fees and interest. We asked for them to pay for the fees and we're given the following reply "Happy to go to reconciliationcourt to hash this out"??? We had to change from our previous company because they stopped working with individuals only business. We were referred to Rapacki from our previous company and could not have been more impressed with the people. They were professional from the first person (Allison) to our tax professional (Joe). I’m sure if you work with them, you will be impressed also.
Our taxes were filed a week late thanks to the nonsense at this firm. We turned everything in on time a month prior. I even asked Anna on April 10th when we would be filing, and she said we were in the queue. (I even asked how to prove we added a dependent, only to have my question ignored for weeks.) Lo and behold, no calls or emails on the 15th (Monday). We had to call and track down our returns, which were somewhat sloppy. No apology, not enough an ounce of contrition.
