I have not lived in Story City for 16 years, but have never considered switching banks from Reliance State Bank. The customer service is second to none, and the personal connection that has been lost in so many businesses continues to be superior. Most recently, Erica Watts has assisted me with options to benefit me, and I am so thankful for her knowledge and experience. Great people, and great bank!!

We came to open accounts for our kids and they started the paperwork before we even got there! We appreciate the friendly and helpful service we receive every time we come in!
Up until recently I would have given them 5 stars. However things have changed. My mother passed away December 20 2021. The apt. Complex she lived in issued a refund of her deposit through Reliance but they issued it in her name rather than it being sent to me as next of kin. When asked about them issuing a new check in my name was told would need to consult a lawyer. Did that sent the paperwork and have not heard or received anything from them.
