Quite a few others have commented on this shop’s practice of selling used or defective products, and unfortunately, we had a similar experience. We attempted to return a product within their stated policy, but they falsely accused us of using it and refused a refund, even though the item was in its original condition. Shady practice that sell potentially used/open box products as new. Charges restocking fees even if you didn't open the item.
We purchased a thermostat from this shop, aware of their return policy, which allows returns within a week with a 6% restocking fee. However, when we attempted to return it, they accused us of using the item and claimed the sensor wire was missing, despite the box being in the exact condition as when it was sold to us. As laypeople referred by Home Depot, we relied on their integrity.
