Stayed 5 nights in November 2025 during an AT Section Hike and had a VERY positive experience. "Bookie" could not have been a more supportive hostel host and also provided "5-Star Plus" hiker shuttle services! I truly enjoyed the clean, fun and relaxed atmosphere along with the pizza, family-recipe pancakes and all the other hiker ammenities. THANK YOU "Bookie" and your furry friends for making my hike such a wonderfully memorable event!
This is one of the best hostels I have stayed at. It is so clean, quiet, and welcoming. The sleeping areas are quiet and private (even the bunkroom). The showers and bathrooms are clean and stocked. The common areas are warm and inviting. The host is so kind and goes out of her way to make sure you are taken care of. You can even arrange shuttles around the area.
Great new hostel minutes away from the NOC. Bookie was a great host and owner. Offers a free shuttle to and from trail. Reasonable priced shuttle for resupply or dinner in Bryson City. The space is very clean and welcoming. I hope to stay there again. I personally enjoyed Bookies pets as I missed mine back home.
This is the spot right here!! If you are passing through and need to recoup do it here!! The host Bookie goes above and beyond in every way making sure you are good to go. I had a very comfortable stay that I can’t thank her enough for. What an amazing person clearly doing what she loves, helping hikers on their journey wherever they may be headed! Thank you Bookie! Quick shuttle from the AT to a laid -back welcoming atmosphere. Clean, organized and comfy with everything you need to get back on trail. DG outfitters is only a three minute car ride way! Would’ve liked to take a zero but had time constraints. I even got to make my own huge pancake using Bookie ‘s grandma’s recipe that fueled my hike up and out of NOC. Highly recommend!
