Kayaker here. Bookie is a truly sincere owner/operator and Terra who was working both days was fantastic. Place for me to hang my gear to dry on the porch, easy parking out front and right next to NOC for paddling. Single room is pet free downstairs. Bathrooms and shower were spotless. Lots of love put into this hostile. Coffee was hot in the morning. 10 out of 10. Thanks Rambling Roots!
So much fun, so glad I came off the trail to stay here! Bookie is a fantastic host, I will definitely come back.
This was my 2nd time staying with Bookie at Rambling Roots Hostel and I can't say enough good things. The beds are comfy, there's plenty of room to move about, even with other hikers staying there, and it is well stocked up to accommodate hiker needs. And Bookie provides excellent shuttle service! Highly recommend!
Rambling Roots is an awesome place to stay. Bookie is really cool and very accommodating. As a past thru hiker, she knows what a hiker and rafter needs. She’ll get you to wherever you need to go. Thank you, Bookie! I’m sure I’ll be back.
