I found Rehab’s Rope about 12 years ago, and it’s held a special place in my heart ever since. Everything in the shop feels meaningful, and the mission behind it makes every visit feel bigger than just shopping. I can’t afford to go like I used to, but one day I’ll be back with an armful of finds. It’s truly one of Gainesville’s gems.
Quality hand made clothing, jewelry, quilts, purses, and other great items that make great gifts. All made in India. 100% of sales goes to fight human trafficking of women in India.
I went in this shop last night to look at their merchandise. They had some cute items. I was disappointed that no one working there greeted me the whole time I was there which was about 15-20 minutes though I heard others being greeted.
Beautiful shop with great aesthetics and great ethics! I was wandering the square with friends, planning not to spend money, but couldn’t help walking out of there with at least something! I got a small pair of cross earrings, but there were plenty of other things that were tempting. There is a lot of cultural clothing and jewelry and notebooks and bags.
