Attentive and knowledgeable staff! Ellie was so patient with me and I am very picky. She took her time and was cheerful throughout the process. She made sure I was in the best shoe for my foot.
Stopped by Ragged Mountain today to get fitted for running shoes. Unfortunately I don’t remember the gentleman’s name that helped me but all of the people in there were extremely kind and welcoming. The store has great character! I left feeling great about my new running shoes from Ragged Mountain!! A must visit!

Today I had an incredible experience at RMRS. The friendly and knowledgeable staff took a TON of time with each customer, answering questions about shoes, socks, technique, drop, gear, stride and whatever else you needed! I have a half-marathon and my first marathon coming up, and wanted to shop in a store where I could see, feel and try everything on. I am so glad my path crossed with this wonderful store! Thanks for my new kicks and gear! I was like a kid at Christmas! I’ll definitely be back!
RecommendedIt says something that I now live over 600 miles away from Ragged Mountain and still don't trust anywhere else for running shoe advice. This place is the BEST!
The best! I have been a customer for over 10 years. I'm there 3-4 times a year and they're always most helpful and make you feel like family. I went in yesterday dealing with some PF and wanted to replace my shoes. After looking at them, Mark's son (I can't remember his name) assured me my shoes were in solid shape, I didn't need new shoes. Instead of letting me drop over $100 for new shoes, he was honest and said I have a lot mileage left on them. Hands down the best family and best running store!
