So relieved to have this shop in my community. Just purchased a secondhand RadCity ST 3 and took it in to learn more about it. Actually, I visited the shop before buying to get educated about what to look for. A young woman shopkeeper was so kind and helpful. *UPDATE: The brakes stopped working mid hill and we crashed! I hope they do go out of business. We maintain these bikes and the fact that they stop working correctly is a major hazard. The safety of these bikes is extremely disturbing . The brakes give out at least once a month on both our rate bikes. Buyer beware!!!! You get what you pay for. We had them put it together and they completely messed up one of the gears. The brakes aren't great either but obviously something we can tighten and fix ourselves. The bike loses powe... read more
I purchased a Rad City Bike version 4 in 2020. The 14ah battery no longer takes a charge. I called RAD to buy another one, and they have discontinued that battery and have no adapter so the Ebike is no longer an Ebike. They offered to sell me a newer bike. (fat chance) Discontinuing parts in less than 5 years shows what you can expect with any purchases from this company.
Victor & Alex and another lady was very helpful. Got my brake serviced by Victor and he tuned up my bike too and Alex installed the coffee holder and premium headlight very fast for no extra charge. Great service and this is one of main reason I bought e-bike from a brand that actually has physical store in my neighborhood. Great job and thank you. Plus having parking inside was helpful
Another outstanding experience at Berkeley's Rad Power Bikes. Oscar dropped everything to work on my bike. Very knowledgeable, super nice. Showed me stuff as he worked on it, so I have a better understanding of how to do basic maintenance myself. One could not ask for better customer service.
