At least 2 female drivers do not know ADA laws on service animals and harass me about where my dog sits or stands. There is nothing in the law that states my dog has to sit and not stand nor is there anything about being in the isle. The bus is a rough ride, my girl adjusted for that and then settles down. I'm easily able to move her if needed. Human passengers are allowed to stand in the isle of the bus. Female bus driver on bus 4 who drives in the morning on wednesday and afternoon thursdays is extremely rude & have had multiple instances of her refusing to stop & instead dropping me down multiple stops away, then yelling at me. this morning she lectured me and my boyfriend saying we need to accommodate her in the mornings by waving her down with a light or else she will skip our stop on purpose. worst driver i’ve ever had.
Worst public transit system I've ever used. Bus barely covers the city, with no routes reaching the only businesses hiring in the city. Drivers constantly late by 5-10+ minutes, even on routes where the drivers get 15-20+ mins of downtime every hour. Their operating hours are a joke too, stopping by like 10pm on weekdays, and like 5pm on weekends (including numerous routes just not running on weekends). Seems like it was a bad idea to sell off a city's public transit to a private company!
Reckless, fast driving bus ran yellow into red light at Douglas and South this am. If they don't already, they should be equipped with Vehicle Activity Tracking Systems. I travel a lot and have seen too many accidents and near accidents with these large vehicles, including city buses. Be alert!
