Been going there for over 30 years. I appreciate that it's a family owned business, is open on Saturdays and beats just about every competitors price across the board. Don (the counter guy) is extremely knowledgable about the products he sells. You need electrical supplies, that's the place to go hands down!

This electrical supplier is hands down the best on Cleveland. They specialize in things ELECTRICIANS NEED. They have lots of things that Home Depot doesn't carry. The wire they carry is WAAAAAAAAY cheaper than Home Depot for the same quality of wire. The guy who works at the counter, Don is a blast. He's funny. I tell him he should have his own show. Everyone knows him. This is a family owned business and the owner is really nice. It's very rare to see the owner of the business waiting on customers. That's a nice touch

Don and the ENTIRE!!!!!!!!!!! STAFF!!!!!!!!! over at Strauss Electric are PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The shop has been open since 1962, and Don himself has been with the shop since 1990 (Going on 36 Years) and it SHOWS!!!!!!!!. Don gives you all of his down to the "WIRE" PUN INTENDED HAHAHAHAHAHA PRECISE!!!!!!! EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE Mixed with his Sarcastic HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WITTY!!!!!! Best place for anything electrical, from random items for a weekend project to custom built gear boxes and commercial equipment. Front desk and Archie, the owner, are knowledgeable and always willing to help see your project come to fruition. My first and last stop for anything electrical.
