R Community Bikes (RCB) is a grassroots, 501(c)3 organization, staffed entirely by volunteers, that collects and repairs used bicycles for distribution, free of charge, to the Rochester, NY area’s most needy children and adults. We give away over 2,000 bicycles every year and do over 3,000 repairs for our clients, many of whom depend on bicycles as their main source of transportation. A great charity with used bikes that have been carefully repaired, low prices, good transportation.
Free bike that works. Wallyworld is selling adult bikes for $600. Grateful that I don't have to walk 3 hours to work. Thank you guys and gals.
This is an excellent community service. I went there for the first time and got a wonderful bike. The staff is very kind supportive. If you need to get a bike from them go there by 9 am on a Wednesday or a Saturday. No matter what your number on the lottery is, don't be in a hurry to grab a punch card and leave. Wait patiently until you get a chance. They do not have a huge variety, but they do have a good bike that serves your purpose. I really appreciate this great service.
