They merged with the current institute and when the merge happened all my banking records before hand were deleted. So i closed my account. Then a year later i grt a call that j have money in my account... so the reopened my account 8 months after it was closed without my knowledge. Wanted my bank to 'allow' me to increase my debit card limit for the day for back to school shopping. Was told they could only do it for two hours. Have to pick up a tablet this afternoon and the time would be expired by then. I regret changing to this bank from my previous one. Was also told I could not get a car loan because they weren't doing them anymore. Had to go to TD bank. Going to be moving all my accounts there
I recently started Banking with Alterna because my “Big” Bank’s customer service became less than helpful!! I had a personal Banking officer at my “Big” Bank, whom I dealt with for decade's, up and left without any notice to me. The Bank manager did not call or notify me of her absence.
