I finally made the trip to Quilting Is My Therapy in Liberty, and it truly is a hidden gem just outside of Kansas City! From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was so incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. I was once a very big fan of Angela Walters. I am like a whole bunch of people who started quilting after finding her on You Tube with “The Midnight Quilter” and on Craftsy! But once she got too big for her britches her and her shop have gone downhill! I purchased her new class “Arc, Curves and Swirls with rulers”. On Dec.9, 2025. Then a week later I saw that I needed a few additional rulers for this class. I ordered supplies for an online tutorial. Order still didn't come. So I decided to cancel since it wasn't shipped yet. They refuse to refund my money, only want to give a credit. I'm retired and money is important I didn't want a credit. They have since ignored me. Beware of this company.
If I could have rated no stars I would have. Terrible, let me repeat TERRIBLE customer service and delivery of purchased products. They keep advertising classes, but when you buy the supplies they make excuses why they haven’t shipped it. For example, I purchased $250. Worth of supplies on or about 12/6/2025 for an online class that was supposed to start on 1/17/26. I have been trying to contact a live person since the end of December.
