Have to share this to the internet. I've been to this gas station twice. One time about a year and a half ago while visiting family, and today. The gentleman working behind the counter has taken it upon himself, both times to talk negatively and unnecessarily to me. First time, made a play on words and tried to short change me by $5. Absolutely disgraceful customer service—and that’s putting it mildly. Yes, the store is dirty, grimy, & rundown to the point of being uninviting; but I could have overlooked that, since most of what they sell is prepackaged anyway. What can’t be overlooked is the hostile attitude and complete lack of basic decency from the staff (or owners—honestly, it’s hard to tell who’s who when everyone behaves so abrasively). They refused to give me a glass of water when it's 100 degrees out and they stopped accepting EBT
Whoever is working the store is not customer/community orientated. Was on my run during my lunch break, I stopped to get something salty and some water. He refused to let me refill my water bottle. I changed my mind on the peanuts and he followed me out when I left shouting "Boomshakalaka the earth is shaking" whenever I took a step.
