Let me start of with the first day I walked in I witnessed a staff member verbally attack a mother with an autistic child then I was showed around but not shown signs that were needed to be read then got told I should known to read them and then told did I know how to read like I was stupid not even two weeks into the stay me and another mother were pulled into an intake room with TERRI and not given reason but this was our first and final warning we had two hours to get out and when asked why she said she wasn’t gonna argue... read more

As a 30 year law enforcement officer, I sent many victims to Quigley House and other domestic violence facilitates. My daughter was a recent victim of domestic violence and was the true example of a DV victim. I told her to contact Quigley House the first day it happened and the abuser was arrested. They offered no safe shelter, they offered no advise or services and actually wasted our time. They did NOTHING, but waste our time. It's a publicly funded joke. Waste of money! QH was there to support me, mentally. I didn't NEED somewhere to go. I needed support from people that understand. I didn't realize this until I decided to leave, or else I would have just seen a therapist and got a hotel. But nonetheless, the ladies here were my saving grace and I'll never forget them.
