This is a great camp for the mentally challenged. They do so many things with them and they truly care.
This is an amazing place. The staff is so caring. Very special, safe place for people with special needs.
My friends experience at Camp Thunderbird was deeply concerning. There were serious issues related to staff conduct, the wellbeing and safety of campers — particularly those with disabilities — and overall management ethics. Oversight appeared minimal, and there were instances where basic care, hygiene, and respect for vulnerable individuals were severely lacking. she also witnessed deeply inappropriate behavior and poor treatment of both staff and campers.
