Our tax preparation was delayed and delayed and finally finished on April 17, 2016. We received a notice from the IRS stating that our 2016 taxes were incorrect. George at Quantum Accounting did not review the discrepancy, did not return my phone calls and he is in contempt of court after we took our complaint to Small Claims Court to reimburse us for the tax penalty and interest.
If you're seeking an incompetent and unresponsive tax preparer who doesn't listen, this is your guy. Imagine being greeted by an unshaven, barefooted man whose still in pajamas at 2 in the afternoon. He effed up my paperwork so badly (including filing the incorrect status and submitting it well after 2018's April 17 deadline) that I had to refile it myself.
