I think they need to better facilitate more enriching activities for their residents on the skilled unit. They also need to look at how the nursing staff doesn't really regard the residents as people just a way to make money as they pawn off their duties to the activity department so they can just sit around gossiping.

Quality Life Services - Mercer PA has a very good and very caring staff. It’s kept clean, with many opportunities for gatherings, games, outside walks and sitting areas. It’s also not crowded. Almost very resident are is friendly and nice, and they get along. Mom’s 92, has an apartment and we know she’s in a good place, in good hands.

I was there for about 18 hours which was 18 hours too many. I went for skilled nursing with a plkan to stay for about a week. I looked at the website and I thought it looked nice. The pictures were for the long-term assisted living area. I was in the skilled nursing. I felt as though I was in a war zone. I saw a lot of running by froim the staff and from the condition of the skilled nuring, I felt dirty. The toilet was continuouslky running which was gooed I suppose I couldn't flush it. Was not able to do a pision there do to I ripped my right arm muscles bad enough that I could not pull it up my self. The other two girls heard my arm ripping for two months I couldn't lift anything with out dropping it. I was a med tech couldn't push a cart. The person in charge of the pc. Made me a float wanted me to do showers and do 1 assist. I refused I didn't want to drop people and hurt them.
