I retained Mr. Pyke’s services in connection with a trust issue which required litigation. Mr. Pyke ignored my initial instructions about handling the case, he tried to get the other side to negotiate after I told him that would not work at all and trying would be a waste of resources. He over promised what he could or would do and very much under delivered. He sold himself as being a very aggressive litigator but he never showed any sign of having that trait. I wish I could apply negative points. These people have been sending my husband and me letters and postcards almost every other week soliciting business. I have called to be asked to be taken off the mailing list for many years. Today, some unidentified staff member said she couldn't find us on their data base. Good lord... what in the world would every happen when someone passes and Pyke ..1) sends you to an answering machine 2) doesn't return your call and finally, can't identify who you are. I had a horrible experience in dealing with this law firm, David. M. Pyke himself, on a probate case. They have poor communication and resolution skills which may end up being very costly to you. I would highly recommend you look at other law firms and do your due diligence before hiring them.
