PWB Bancshares is the holding company for Bank North, which serves northeastern Wisconsin from five branch locations in Amberg, Crivitz, Goodman, Pembine and Waukesha, Wis. PWB Bancshares assets total more than $90 million. The bank was established in 1903 as Wausaukee State Bank. In 1933, it merged with Pembine State Bank and thus became Pembine Wausaukee Bank. A branch office in Crivitz was added in 1944 and the name was changed once again to Bank North.
