They are con. Artist misrepresent will not tell the truth transmissions will only go in gear at high RPMs vehicles and products are misrepresented will not stand behind the word. The max bid is a joke because they will bid themselves to increase to the max bid to take any amount of money they can from you stay away. Honestly, Not sure they can stay in business. The attitudes of these people and egos are rough I have bought over 50 items on multiple sites and never had people so unwilling to work with you in my life. If you don't pay in 2 days they hit you with a 15% surcharge. Do not use this auction company.

Scam DO NOT BUY FROM PURPLE WAVE AUCTION SITE. they do not perform any background check nor do they check to see if the information advertised is legitimate operational functional its deceptive practices and then they blame the seller for not providing them with true and accurate information. when you try and speak with them or reach out they're just not quick to respond takes weeks and they place all responsibility on seller. Hide behind their policy of its "not our fault" we don't claim any information to be accurate.

We used purple wave for a few years, but we will never do so again. We purchased a truck through their auction. The truck was to come from a dealer they seem to be doing a lot of work with. Once we completed the transaction with purple wave, we picked up the truck but it has been impossible for us to get our title from the dealer. We tried reaching out to purple wave who completely brushed it off “sorry you need to deal with the dealer directly”

Purple Wave acts as an auction site for otherwise unsellable vehicles. Purple wave provides only cursory inspections of the vehicles, allowing sellers to pawn off vehicles with major problems without disclosing issues. I purchased 2 vehicles and both proved problematic. On one the AC compressor was seized. Purple Waves response was that "there was an AC knob. so it had AC". On the second vehicle, once here we discovered that all the emissions parts had been removed and it was unregisterable in Colorado. I spent $15000 ... read more

My purchase of a tractor was my first purchase with Purple Wave. I paid a fair price for the tractor and drove 380 miles to pick it up. The tractor performed as expected and I am quite happy with it. It was represented well by the photo's and I called the seller for any additional information as I could not go and personally inspect it. I would use Purple Wave again. Wes Holt Grove, OK.

Well, used them once and never again!!! Purchased a box truck through them, drove up to Decatur, IL to pick it up, yesterday. While driving home it out of the shop and heading home, I immediately notice, the truck spurts oil everywhere from just about every darn seal there is and it has no 5th gear. ALL things NEVER mentioned on the AD. You got me this time Purple Wave, but never again. My attorney will be in touch.
