Delicious, nutritious food. Beautiful surrounds. And as well as the gorgeous cafe, it's a wellness centre with some delightful accommodation options. Absolutely recommend.
We tried this new Purple House Cafe this week. The service was interesting but good, just a bit unusual. However, having said that, the environment, the ambience, the FOOD... were absolutely top drawer all round. If you wish to venture into their stunning gardens you may need to become a member, it was free, and that's ok, they are well worth it! I enjoyed my visit on Friday. Although they were busy they put us on a quint table in the garden. My coffee was A1. Salad and crepes were very nice. It was lovely to be able to amble through the gardens. I must visit again soon as in Autumn all those trees are going to look spectacular.
Local, wishing to support a local business. Wanted good food for lunch. Stood waiting, while TWO people served one undecided tourist; I know this, because they said they were and most unlikely to ever return as they are on holiday.
