The nerdiest yarn store I have ever been in and I love it! Wonderful selection with a lot of locally produced including unique products by Purls. Lots to choose from while still well organized and not overcrowded. Super friendly, a welcoming and comfortable shop. Found them by chance and glad I did.
I tried to shop here, truly I did but the moment you open the door there was a stench of rotten kitty litter towards the back. I did not buy any yarn for this reason and my hubby was so mad at me for even trying to stay in the shop, there is a good selection of books and I ended buying a pack of needles I have never seen before. If you love cats then this is your place.
This is my favorite place to visit for yarn. They have a bit of everything. Local makers yarn in stock from our mountains, and the kits help you explore new projects. The staff will help you if you get stuck. This is always a stop on our annual yarn crawl.
We try to stop by a local yarn shop whenever we travel. There's a whole lot of yarn made and or dyed in North Carolina on offer - buy local right? If you live in the area, you'll be encouraged to know there was a lovely knitting group gathered while we were shopping. If you're looking for a friendly, inclusive place to be a yarn nerd, consider this a safe space to be yourself.
Google said they were open until 6 on Sundays and the sign on the door said open 10-6 on Sunday but they are closed, not a soul there. I wanted to stop by on my way home to TN. Won’t be wasting my time again. Edit to add: after reading other reviews it appears that they are less than friendly so I may have dodged a bullet with them being closed when they weren’t supposed to be. Adding again: if you have to be closed then at least put a sign up saying that you’re closed or put it on Google.
