A spacious holiday house with everything we needed for a fantastic week in Coniston. Super clean, comfy beds, plenty of space and a great location right in the centre of the village. You can walk from the house onto the fells.
Had a wonderful week in Coniston :-) Puddleduck House was in the most perfect location, literally a minutes walk from the Village High Street. The house itself was great and had everything I needed to make it a stress free and comfortable stay - Thank you to Joy for making the whole experience so easy and well worth it
This was our 4th visit to Puddleduck! To us the house is a home from home. We always look forward to returning. It is so convenient to all that Coniston has to offer. So many wonderful walks in the area and choice of pubs in the evening. On our last day we climbed Old Man had a drink in the Sun and a wonderful meal in the Yewdale. Best day!
What a wonderful holiday let. Have already recommended it to friends and would go back tomorrow if we could! It’s a charming place, located right in the centre of Coniston, near all the local amenities; shops, restaurants and pubs - and it stands at the foot of the of walks (we did different walks including Coniston Old Man) and also spent a lot of time near the boating centre and cafe at beautiful lake Coniston, which is just round the corner as well. This is a great cottage, nicely furnished, well equipped and comfortable beds. We had a lovely stay here enjoying cycling and walking. The cottage is a couple of minutes walk to the local pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended.
