Whoever invests PERA funds is either incompetent, unethical, involved in criminality or any combination thereof. Retirees have realized a regression in their standard of living supposedly because investments haven't yielded sufficiently enough to allow for meaningful annual cost of living (COLA) increases. The combined past five years have left retirees with less than a 5% increase while the cost of living has more than double that amount. It's a disgrace.

After trying to navigate through my benefits myself, I reached out to PERA and received an almost immediate response. Christina, the Outreach Bureau Chief, answered every single question I had - in record time - and showed me the tools I needed if I wanted to access this information online. I was totally impressed with the service I received and will not hesitate to reach out again should I need to. Thanks again, Christina!

Christiana with customer service, was absolutely amazing! She responded to my email in less than 10 minutes and answered all my questions. It was quite surprising and refreshing to have someone that was so helpful and quick to reply back! Thank you!

I wish I could leave separate reviews. First I want to give 5 stars and hopefully higher up’s see this but Alex, Stephanie and Ian were tremendous and helped me every time I talked with them, they would look into my case and provide information and actually try to help me as much as possible. They are great and deserve to be recognize for what they have done for me. I want to give 0 stars to Chantel and Theresa, these two were zero help, and very rude. I have had a wonderful experience with PERA. I have worked with Christina Gathier, Public Relations Coordinator, and she has been prompt, courteous, and very professional. Ms. Gathier has been a tremendous help to me to answer my questions. I give her 5 stars!
