I attended a one day psychodrama workshop. Scottie Urmey led it, with a great mix of theory and practice. It was INCREDIBLE. I learned a lot, but more importantly it was a peak experience. The atmosphere Scottie created, the techniques applied to foster meaningful psychodramas, and the thoughtful and caring participation by all attendees really made it one of the most informative and enjoyable experiences I've ever had.
Scottie personified compassion, wisdom, humility and respect for each participant wherever they were in their personal and professional journeys. As an experienced therapist who has a passion for working with relational concerns and personal growth, I really appreciated this experiential workshop and the way she facilitated a warm, cohesive powerful group experience.
I highly recommend this psychodrama institute. I took the psychodrama intensive for 3 days, and it exceeded my expectations. Scottie was welcoming, patient, and a great overall instructor. I would recommend this to anyone in the mental health field or related fields!
