I have NEVER had such a nightmare experience as I have with public storage. My apartment was directly across from their office and I witnessed SO much shady stuff going on there at night, people on foot not by vehicle going in and out that looked homeless, fast come and go traffic, a few down from my unit someone was selling drugs out of the unit, another seemed to be living out of the unit. January 18, 2024 : arrived at 100% AI-managed Public Storage site at 4610 Van Nuys Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403-2915, USA to discover: 1. Someone had tampered with main gate so that it was wide open, 2. The security door to the bldg. where my unit was located was open, and 3. Saw a 5 inch gap the potentially was a potential for dry storage unit to be flooded due to winter rains common to Southern Ca.
