After 7 weeks at UNC Chapel Hill cancer hospital, my husband was transported to PruittHealth-Trent rehab and skilled nursing facility near our home in New Bern, North Carolina. While the physical facility is drab and dated, the administrative staff, nurses, aides, physical therapists and occupational therapists have provided professional, excellent, kind, compassionate and timely care to my husband every day. I have heard so many derogatory comments about nursing homes, but I have found out they are not true. Thus far doing my stay at Trent, I have received some of the best care ever. Miss Paulais one of my precious TA. Whenever she is one shift always checks on me to make sure I am clean and dry. She makes sure that I have fresh water even if I am sleep. My family member has been at this facility for almost two years. We have been blessed to have some very caring nurses and aids. Pam, Paula, Linda, Wanda, India, Jessica, Analee, and Lisa have been a godsend for me. I thank them and many others for the care of my loved one.

If it wasn’t for Annalee the business manager, I truly don’t know what we would have done for my father-in-law. From day one, she went above and beyond to help our family through such a stressful and emotional time. Her kindness, patience, knowledge, and dedication made an overwhelming situation feel manageable. She truly cares about her patients and their families, and it shows in everything she does. My parents are currently there. Some of the staff are great, the business manager have been great to work with. She’s always available when needed and extremely helpful with the financial aspect for my parents.
