My best friend has been in Pruitt in Jasper for over a year. I don't have anything bad to say about them. Unlike many nursing homes, it doesn't smell like urine, at least not that I have experienced and she is always clean and taken care of. Up to this point, I have no complaints.

Our mother was only at Pruitt for about five weeks. It is a difficult decision to place someone you love in any facility. My sister, brother and I slept easy knowing that our mother was cared for. The facility is clean, and the staff is caring and friendly. Mother had been at another facility for a short while in Canton and that was a DISASTER! We are new to Pruitt-Jasper as I recently placed my sibling at this location. I am pleased so far with the level of care he is receiving. A few of my requirements included a smaller facility, no more than 2 residents per room, direct hires (no agencies), private owned/managed, and medicaid acceptance. All these boxes were checked. A very unprofessional company. My mother was submitted to one of their programs by her doctor and not only did they enter all the information wrong on her (which we pulled what our doctor sent and not one thing they recieved was wrong yet somehow all their documents were completely entered wrong even listing her as my wife) the administrator who runs the program did not care or take the time of day to fix this.
