I have never had a loan with Provident bank. I have had a loan with their predecessor. I paid the loan off in full more than 2 years ago and was told by the bank manager, that I was good to go after handing her my final payment. Today, I received a letter from Provident stating they want to me to pay them a fee of $55 to release a lien. I called and spoke it’s Jaida and Matt Lardieri asking for them to waive the fee. Everyone was especially helpful, professional and kind. All aspects of what banking I needed were fully explained by Tara Robinson the excellent Manager of the Branch! She was always available for my needs. Everyone at this branch was kind, professional and friendly and helpful.

I would give this bank 0 stars if I could. Customer Service here is terrible. Lakeland Bank merged with Provident so I decided to go here. I spoke with the bank teller and she told me I had to speak to one of the bankers who sits in the office. The banker was having a full blown conversation with another coworker and did not acknowledge us once while we were sitting there. We waited but I left to go to another Provident Bank. We were helped right away. I will never go here again.

My husband's debit card wasn't working and the staff was very helpful in terms of getting it fixed.
