I just opened a Zelle account through Provident. My transaction was flagged as fraud because I recently obtained a Real Id. This means that my drivers license number was changed. I drove to the bank and gave them my new info. They know me there too. My father was once a trustee. I did the verification immediately but now have to wait a day for the fraud team to investigate. I need to make a zelle payment immediately. This wait is unacceptable. Time to find a new bank.
