I've been banking with Provident Bank, Brick, NJ for a while and find that the bank itself is similar to other large brick and mortar banks in features and safety. What differentiates it from other banks that I am familiar with is the friendly, knowledgeable staffing that always greet you with a smile and are there for you even in these Covid-19 awful times. Branch is clean and welcoming. Branch staff is friendly, efficient, and professional. It's a pleasure to bank there.
Rudest staff I've ever met in my life as a businessman went in there to cash a check when they explain to me that they wouldn't cash the check despite the fact that I had ID one of the staff members from across the lobby floor at her desk yelled out if you don't like our policy you can leave!... Which time the manager walked over wearing clothes that look like they came out of the hamper, acting as if there was a problem when there wasn't one... when I asked him wherer his suit and tie was he replied it's dress down Tuesday?... read more
