I work in Metairie Monday through Friday until 3:30 pm. I arrived at the Jefferson Parish Tax Window at approximately 4;28pm due to heavy traffic. The look those workers gave me was unacceptable. The transaction took all of three minutes so forgive me for delaying them for a minute or two. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Erica F
I came to the property tax office for information about a homestead exemption. It was the easy thing I have ever done in a government building. The staff was super friendly and it was really quick. Super impressed, keep up the good work.
Absolutely horrible customer service. Went to pay taxes one lady at window said she was busy. Asked another lady to help, lady made no eye contact and walked around for another 5 minutes with her ear pods in. First lady then decided to help me but had inaccurate information. She called and got corrected info; however, in the middle of my transaction she asked to complete with other worker. Totally unacceptable and they need extensive training in customer service and the regulations.
