I have worked in long term care for over 20 years. The Promise house staff is beyond exceptional. I have witnessed the staff going above and beyond showing compassion, treating the residents like family, and knowledge of Alzhiemers dementia. I highly recommend this home.
When we had to put our dad in a memory care assisted living facility we had several options due to the fact that we are a large family that covers 7 states. We decided on the promise house in Iowa and we are all so glad we did. The care he receives is more than just nurses doing their job, and more about making him part of the family. The DON Marla is a people pleaser and doesn't effectively know how to run a facility. Learn your rights as employees and document everything
Homelike environment, providing individualized care to the tenants. Staff treat the tenants like their own family by going above and beyond.
