Completed the installation with a 2ft extension on an 8ft rail. Finding the studs, or equivalent, was a bit of a task. I had to drill a series of small bit pilot holes to find rigid attachments and subsequently patch and paint. However, the supports were successfully attached with a very rigid installation. The bottom installed "grip" was somewhat difficult. Instead of pushing vertically, I progressively twisted the grip to ease installation. Instructions would have been helpful. I unequivocally recommend Promenaid Railing to anyone looking to improve the safety or the appearance of their home or business. The interior handrail (matte black) they recently shipped to me arrived so quickly I thought there was some mistake. The handrail and hardware actually improved the appearance of our small rental cottage. Your system is easy to use and install and your technical people provided quick and solutions to my installation. the only comment I made was that the color match between the elbows and the main railing is poor. Thanks for your help
Initially I was flummoxed by finding many parts and no instructions, but I found directions online and connected with customer service--FANTASTIC customer service! After some clarification, I had no difficulty completing my installation--love the wood grab bars after I stained them to match their surroundings! Good, solid product in terms of safety, and very pleased with how they look.
