I saw Skylar for speech therapy with my son, and she was amazing. She listened to me and really helped ease my anxiety by giving me honest feedback and realistic strategies we could implement at home. She was very nice and patient. My son’s speech exploded over the year he spent with her. I would absolutely recommend Progressive Pediatric Therapies and Skylar for any parent concerned about their child’s speech development, and I would certainly come back if I needed too! We've been seeing Katie since late last year for feeding therapy for my son. To note, I live in Western Fairfax County with an insanely busy job, and I dislike driving back and forth. However, I never regret taking the time to take my son to feeding therapy with Katie. Katie does an excellent job of meeting you from a realistic perspective, setting achievable goals, as well as providing actionable insights, which are crucial for ensuring long-term success. My son looks forward to seeing Katie and working with her.
My 6 yo has been going to Progressive Pediatric Therapy for physical therapy and has a had a great experience these last couple of months. Our therapist is patient, the therapy is super fun and well tailored to my daughter's age/abilities, the office is organized and prompt, communication is great. I had to make a few dozen calls to find a therapy place when her doctor prescribed PT -- I'm so glad I found this one!
Kristin does an 💜extraordinary 💜 job working with Marika!! She brings out the very best in my daughter - enhanced communication, expressive creativity, and sharper focus - to name a few of the numerous positive results of art therapy. Marika has matured in tangible ways - improved self-regulation, self-expression, as well as self-confidence. Perhaps the greatest measure of success Marika displays for her weekly art with Kristin is to experience the expressive ✨JOY ✨in her smile at the end of every session!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Progressive Pediatric Therapy. My daughter was a late walker and we called at least 15 practices looking for someone who could see her for physical therapy quickly and we felt good about her being with. We are so lucky Jill was able to fit us into Ms. Martha's schedule. My daughter hit it off with Ms. Martha immediately and felt comfortable with her right away - which is very hard for 18 month children to do.
