After emailing my documents and getting a price quote, I showed up at the office, and suddenly he claimed there were more documents and increased the price. Changing the price wasn’t the main issue—what really bothered me was how I was treated. I mentioned that I had been clear through the emails, but instead of having a reasonable discussion, he was dismissive, told me I was wasting his time, and suggested I find another notary.
